Application
Designed for extrusion and co-extrusion applications
with up to 8 extruders. The extruder throughput is
gravimetrically monitored or controlled by means
of a loadcell. The Smarthopper achieves an accuracy
of up to +/- 0.5% related to the material flow through
the weigh hopper.
The material flow is constantly measured by a strain
gauge load cell in real time based on a loss in weight
principle based on an adjustable time base.
