CBF
The CBF Colortronic systems’ Belt Feeder consists of a stainless steel housing fitted with two removable side panels with a belt feeder inside. Once the belt feeder has been released it can be easily removed through one of the side openings. The drive for the feeder is an external DC permanent-magnetic drive motor. By using two different gear ratios the belt feeders’ performance can be tuned to the specific requirements of a customer’s application. The amount of material being fed onto the belt can be optimised by the exact adjustment of both the height and width of the outlet of the feeder hopper.

Through the adjustment of the material outlet opening and the speed of the belt feeder a performance range of 5 - 1300 l/h (gear box 36:1) can be achieved.

Different material hoppers can be selected depending on the material throughput required. In addition for hard to flow materials an agitator can be installed in the feeder hopper. The modular construction of the unit allows for flexibility in meeting the demands of different material throughputs.

For gravimetric applications the belt feeder is mounted on a platform-scale and controlled by a Colortronic Systems’ C2 controller.
